Job Description
We are seeking to add Foreman to our team in Austin, TX
Our ideal Foreman is highly skilled and experienced individual with in-depth knowledge. Someone who possess strong leadership management abilities to oversee teams of electricians, ensuring efficient project execution. Safety is our top priority at Enterprise Electrical; we adhere to strict safety standards and guidelines. We want a foreman who is technically proficient, holds the necessary licenses and certifications, and demonstrates problem solving abilities. Attention to detail, customer relations, continuous learning, physical stamina, ethical conduct, and professionalism.
Basic Requirements:
- Active TX TDLR journeyman electrical license OR master (Required)
- Active TX ID or DL (Required)
- Reliable Transportation
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years documented field work in the commercial industry
- Proven work experience as an Electrical Foreman or a similar supervisory role.
- Experience: Able to manage 5 to 30 men
- Size of Projects: $10,000K – $15M
- Travel: Willing to travel as needed
- Punctuality: Punctual, motivated and detail oriented
- Superior communication. Possess strong interpersonal skills to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required
Responsibilities/Skills:
- The role requires strong organizational and management abilities, including planning ahead, coordinating materials and tools, and ensuring job site readiness. Candidates must demonstrate respectful client interaction, fostering a partnership-oriented environment.
- Troubleshooting skills are essential for resolving service issues efficiently, while teamwork and a process-oriented work style are expected. Effective time management and communication—both within the team and with clients—are critical.
- Candidates must manage tools and materials responsibly, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and handle client requests with professionalism. Estimating time and materials for service tasks is part of the role.
- Physical capabilities include working from various ladders (up to 14’ step ladders and heights up to 90’), navigating restricted areas, and lifting up to 51 pounds repeatedly. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
- The role also involves supervising electricians, ensuring safety compliance, managing schedules and budgets, and mentoring junior staff. Accurate record-keeping and quality inspections are required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of electrical systems and codes, and proficiency in reading blueprints are essential. Leadership and project management experience are important, and additional certifications (e.g., OSHA) are beneficial.
