Job Description

• Review project plans, drawings and specifications to prepare detailed labor estimates including direct and indirect costs.

• Prepare detailed takeoffs and determine job material costs.

• Negotiate material procurement and issue purchase orders to suppliers.

• Preparation of formal bids, submittals and contract review.

• Clarify projects with General Contractors and propose Value Engineering options.

• Communication with superintendent to monitor job progress and changes in scope of work.

 

The qualified candidate must have the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years Acoustical Ceiling estimating required.

• Experience with On-Center On Screen Take Off or similar software.

• Proficient in Excel and other standard office software products.
