Your Role with the Company As a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician, you will:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NFPA standards.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to implement fire alarm system layouts.
- Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success.
- Provide detailed documentation of installations, maintenance, and inspections.
Background Profile To excel in this role, you should have:
- A valid Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL).
- 2+ years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with programming and configuring fire alarm systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
