Dear C3 Participants,
As we embark on the journey of 2025, I am thrilled to share the ambitious goals and exciting initiatives that will shape this year for C3 and all of you, our valued partners and participants. Together, we have built a foundation rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to creating sustainable careers in our industry, and I am confident that this year will be no exception.
Our 2025 Goals
1. Inaugural Industry Impact Luncheon and Fundraiser
This year marks a new chapter for C3 as we host our first-ever industry impact luncheon and fundraiser. This event will be an incredible opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements, amplify our mission, and garner support to drive meaningful change.
2. #SHEbuildsHouston with HISD
#SHEbuildsHouston will expand its reach, engaging 1,900 young women from HISD. This initiative aims to inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders in construction and beyond, fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
3. Strategic Partnerships
We are thrilled to deepen our collaborations with incredible organizations such as Goodwill Houston, the Astros, SER Jobs for Progress, US Vets, and JP Morgan Chase. These partnerships will enhance our ability to connect individuals to sustainable careers and resources that support personal and professional growth.
4. Job Board and Hiring Events
Our new job board, designed to streamline connections between job seekers and employers paired with more small-scale hiring events throughout the year, provides consistent workforce development and engagement opportunities.
5. Golf and Bowling
Our annual Golf and Bowling events will continue to be highlights of the year. They combine fun and networking with opportunities to support our mission and strengthen our community.
New Fee Structure
As part of our continued efforts to align with the rising costs of doing business and to encourage deeper integration with our mission, we have introduced a new fee structure for Accredited Employers and Project Participants. This change reflects the value of participation in our programs and supports our ability to deliver high-quality initiatives and services. By transitioning away from a project-by-project participation model, we aim to foster long-term partnerships that advance our shared goals.
Looking Ahead
I am filled with excitement as I think about everything 2025 holds. From impactful new programs to the strengthened bonds of our community, this year promises to be one of growth, innovation, and celebration. And who will ever forget the epic winter snowstorm of January 21, 2025? Even in the face of nature’s surprises, our resilience and unity shine through, a testament to the spirit that defines C3.
