In 2015, The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston made the decision to implement the Construction Career Collaborative (C3) program on its projects going forward. His Eminence Cardinal DiNardo wrote in a letter that declared support for C3’s mission of proper pay practices, skills and safety training, and Worker’s Compensation Insurance coverage for every craft worker.
Since The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s implementation of C3 on their projects, 26 of their projects have been constructed using a safe and skilled craft workforce that knows they have opportunities to further their careers within the construction industry.
